Pas de la Casa, Andorra
The town of Pas de la Casa is a ski resort which can be found in Andorra. Besides being a ski resort town you will also find that Pas de la Casa is also a mountain pass which lies on the border with France. The resort itself is part of the Grandvalira resort. The Pas de la Casa geographically marks the watershed of the Pyrenees and you will find that it is considered to be one of the highest points of the European road network at a height of 2408 meters.
Here in Pas de la Casa you will find many amenities and facilities which will make your stay here quite enjoyable. Among the great services you will see in Pas de la Casa resort is that of the impressive Grandvalira ski area. Here you will find 193 kilometres of piste. This forms the largest skiing area in the Pyrenees. To enable you to travel to where you need with a minimum of trouble and fuss you will find that Grandvalira has a very efficient and modern ski lift system. This system can take those who are skiing and snowboarding to the various slopes they desire to go to.
In addition to being excellent for advanced skiers you will find that there are various slopes which cater to skiers of varying capabilities. There are instructors who speak English quite well so you should not worry about making yourself understood. For this reason you will find there is a small board park and half pipe located on the Grau Roig side of the mountain.
