Kirchberg in Tirol, Austria

Kirchberg in Tirol is a municipality in the Tyrol region, which is a Bundesland or a state that is located to the western part of Austria and is split into two regions - North Tyrol and East Tyrol, and borders Bavaria in Germany and Vorarlberg as well as Italy, Switzerland, Carinthia and Salzburg.

It is located in Austria in the Kitzbuhel district which is also called the Bezirk Kitzbuhel and is an administrative district (Bezirk, hence the name Bezirk Kitzbuhel, and borders with Bavaria in Germany, Kufstein and Schwaz - two districts in the west, and the Pinzgau region which is located in Salzburg. The Bezirk Kitzbuhel district is populated with about 60,000 people that are spread over about 1,200 square kilometres, making it about 51 people per square kilometre.

Kirchberg in Tirol is situated about 6 kilometres away from the Kitzbuhel district, and is 837 meters high above the sea level, and has about 5,000 citizens that are spread over about 100 square kilometres.
