Cala Ratjada, Spain
Cala Ratjada that is in Spain is a resort town and is a principle port and coastal development that is located in the municipal district of Capdepera. Cala Ratjada is located in a rocky peninsula in the north eastern part of the island, and is just 65 kilometers from Palma - the capital of the area, making it ideal for people that want to use Cala Ratjada as their home base and visit other close towns and villages, and get to see more on their vacation.
If you are worried about how to get to Cala Ratjada, you can easily reach it just by driving or taking a taxi, or renting a car, from the Son Sant Joan International Airport which is in the north parts of the city of Palma. If you take the road rather than the airport, you can take the Ma-15 road which will take you directly to Cala Ratjada, and using it you can visit other routes on the way, such as Manacor and Arta which are both towns in the area.
The drive is about an hour to two, and while on it you can enjoy the view that the local area provides.
If you are worried about the availability of taxis around the airport - don't be. Many taxis are available at all times around the compound of the Son Sant Joan International Airport, and although there is sometimes a bit of waiting time, they offer a fixed price so you know what to pay, and you won't get ripped-off.

Cala Ratjada translates to "The Bay of Rays", and if you visit it you can still go to the original harbor where fishermen went from, on their daily routine. You can also nowadays rent a yacht or take a cruise with your family and friends, if you want to, due to the closeness to the sea.
Cala Ratjada is also close to the Menorca island which you can sometimes see from Cala Ratjada, and you can also rent a boat and sail to it and see another location while on your trip.
