Ciutadella, Spain

Ciutadella is a town which is located on the western side of Minorca in Spain. Although this pretty town has Arabic style architecture you will also find Gothic styles on the walls of the city. The old town and the new town both have much to offer visitors who come to this city. When you visit the city of Ciutadella you will find many interesting locations to visit. For this reason you should separate your sightseeing trips so that you can enjoy absorbing the wonders found within the city and have a chance to enjoy what you find here.

While there are many different sights you can visit, you might be interested in taking part in a religious festival. This is the festival of Saint John the patron saint of the city. The festival takes place annually on the 23rd and 24th of June. In addition to this festival you can visit the beaches in and around the city. These will include beaches like Cala Morell, Algaiarens, Arenal de Son Saura, Cala Bosch, and Cala del Pilar to name but a few.
